Terms of Service

These terms are a product draft for the U.S. launch of Kiffeurs and must receive final legal review before commercial launch.

1. What Kiffeurs does

Kiffeurs is a deadline accountability service. You create a goal, choose a deadline, choose a reminder frequency, and select one or more reminder channels. The service is designed to keep showing you the commitment you chose to make.

2. Free commitment lock

When you confirm a Free commitment, the commitment is intended to remain locked in Kiffeurs until its deadline. This rule is shown before confirmation. A future paid plan may allow early editing or deletion. A locked commitment does not remove your legal or device-level ability to revoke consent for a communication channel.

3. Reminder channels

You choose which reminder channels to enable. Goal reminders are intended to contain information about your own commitment, deadline, and time remaining rather than advertising content. Delivery is not guaranteed because email providers, browsers, mobile operating systems, carriers, and other third parties can delay, filter, or block messages.

4. Text message terms

Text reminders are optional and require a separate affirmative opt-in. If you enable text reminders, you agree to receive recurring automated deadline reminder texts from Kiffeurs at the U.S. mobile number you provide, at the reminder frequency you selected for that commitment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel text messages and HELP for help. Consent to text messaging is not a condition of purchase.

Stopping text messages does not delete the underlying Kiffeurs commitment. It only revokes the text messaging channel. Kiffeurs will honor supported opt-out requests even while the commitment itself remains locked.

5. Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate account and contact information, use contact details that belong to you or that you are authorized to use, and avoid using Kiffeurs for unlawful, abusive, threatening, or harmful purposes.

6. No guarantee of completion

Kiffeurs provides reminders and accountability tooling. It does not guarantee that you will complete a goal, meet a deadline, receive every notification, or achieve any particular personal, academic, financial, health, or professional result.

7. Service changes

The product is still in development. Features, limits, pricing, reminder providers, and paid-plan capabilities may change before public launch. Material terms applicable to a live paid service will be presented before purchase.

8. Contact

A monitored support and legal contact address must be published before public launch. This pre-launch draft is not yet the final effective customer agreement.
